Cask Pint from Robin Hood in Sheffield. Deep, dark red with a short lived frothy head. Strong smell of toffee. A little heavy on the carbonation, but good flavours of nut and toffee.

Rob_D_UK (1369) - Madrid, SPAIN - APR 11, 2014
Pours a good tawny colour with a tan coloured head. Good rich aroma of malt, and a little hint of chocolate and toffee. The taste is all malt with dry bitter finish.

Lightly smoky, plenty of malt, dark fruits of the forest all coming through here. Enjoyable mild.

allmyvinyl (10493) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 15, 2014
500ml bottle from Booths. Pours clear dark brown, red tinge. Little to no beige head. Aromas are metallic, chocolate and raisins. Taste is more of the same, light demerara sweetness. Palate is a bit thin. Clean finish. Ok.

Amber-brown. Nutty-caramel nose. Light body with a dash of acidity, light toasty and nutty character. Decent mild.

Bottle. Dark ruby brown beer with a residual head. Aroma is faint roasted malts and a touch of berries. Taste is berries, some chocolate and coffee, a hint of plum and some sweetish malts. Very nicely balanced beer, never overpowering.

Deep ruby beer with thin cream head. Lovely chewy toffee apple flavour. Nice bitter sweet finish. An excellent example of the style.
