Cask @ St Ives Booze on the Ouse festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are rich caramel, fruits, malt, little nuts and hops. Nice sweet finish. FCox143 (133) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - OCT 10, 2017
Cask at Meat and Barrel, Southsea - Pours deep red (ruby, in other words) with very little carbonation, aroma is malty summer fruit, taste is mostly bitter. Itstasty (117) - East Yorkshire, ENGLAND - SEP 24, 2017
Cask @ The Jemmy Hirst, Rawcliffe, East Yorkshire.
Traditional dark mild, lacking a great head though. Not sweet like many milds, more fruity in my opinion, light hops, malt with a sour note at the end. sound67 (784) - Offenbach, GERMANY - AUG 8, 2017
UPDATED: AUG 8, 2017 Rudgate Ruby Mild, 4.4% - on tap at the GBBF at Kennington Olympia, 2017. Dark ruby colour. Fruity, winey aroma of raspberry and strawberry. First taste is slightly hoppy, slightly sourishly fruity. Malty and medium bitter middle and roasted notes. Some spicy hops, fruit and raisins in the finish. Well, it's a mild. Dark ruby with small head. Aroma has lovely vanilla note, toffee, quite sweet. Taste nutty, wood notes, a bit of roast. Very nice
