Very simple yet satisfying beer. Visited the factory and after hearing them explain the process you realize that the beer is exactly what is is supposed to be. It is light with a lively mouth-feel and natural lightly hoppy flavor. A beer that can be enjoyed on a hot day or a cold afternoon. nothing surprising but not disappointing. No head, just a clean finish that leaves you with a slightly fruity note. KAggie97 (3529) - Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA - JUN 21, 2004
UPDATED: MAR 29, 2010 Maybe I was under the spell of the Swiss Alps, but I liked this one. Had it on tap at the Hotel Alpina in Murren in a Rugenbrau dimpled mug, and I loved it. Can’t wait to have another. Got a place I can stay during my visit to Switzerland? Seriously! Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - SEP 23, 2006
Pale yellow and slightly hazy. Spritzy, light, refreshing, and soft on the tongue. Light fruit notes were nice (pear and apple sauce). Very light bitterness, with gentle herbs. Pleasant beer. asheft (3062) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 26, 2008
Slightly skunky in the nose with a little bit of fresh hops and crisp 2-row. Pale straw with a rapidly dropping white fizz. Light flaovur that has some fruitiness from hops and some citrus in the finish that may be from the yeast. Light body, medium carbonation, very clean finish. A clean yellow beer with a fruity touch.
