Cerveja com boa presença de malte e lúpulo e final amargo, mas que não chegou a impressionar. asheft (3125) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 26, 2008
[on tap somewhere in Interlaken]
No diacetyl, which was surprising after tasting their other beers. Fresh hops aroma together with crisp malt and a tiny bit of sweet corn. Clear straw with a lasting, white, rocky head. Crisp flavour of grain and hay. Two-row malt plus a bit of subdued hops with well-balanced bittering and carbonation. Lemony finish that may be from fermentation. Light to medium body and medium carbonation. SamGamgee (2585) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - DEC 21, 2007
Draught in Interlaken. Clear gold with a big, fluffy white head that laces like cotton candy. Malty sweet aroma with a slight vegetable quality and some grassy hops. Maltier flavor than either of the other two light rugens I had, with a nice hop balance and bitter finish that is crisp and clean. Medium-light body with plenty of carbonation. More flavor than the lager hell, but has that same crisp refreshing quality that I want to attribute to the amazing Interlaken water, but who knows? Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - AUG 24, 2007
(Bought straight from brewery) Yellow colored, medium sized yellow head. Fruity esters dominate this sweet and lemony aroma, nothing special. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is same as aroma: esters come up strongly with lemon also, same taste in aftertaste. After being couple of days in Munich, this doesn’t work.

"Spezial Bier - Interlaken" - Light golden and slightly hazy. Light and soft mouthfeel with a lively carbonation. Sweet malt base (honey and light caramel). Flowery, herbal hops with a complementing bitterness. Although, some stark, flower-petal bitterness reared its ugly head. Nevertheless, the bitterness surely washed away any lingering sweetness, so no problem there. Overall, not too bad, just a little harsh in some respects. labologist (56) - Disley, Cheshire, ENGLAND - AUG 15, 2006
Druaght. Golden yellow colour, wellbalanced malt/hop aroma and flavour with a light hop finish. tugdriver7 (27) - Maryland, USA - JUN 5, 2006
Hand-carried from Switzerland (thanks "N"). Touted as "The Local Beer of Interlaken." Great example of the style. Little lasting head, but nice lacing; clear yellow color. Good mouthful, with smooth, mild taste that was quite drinkable. No, you won’t find complexity here; but compared to so many other Euro Pale Lagers, this one is well done. I wish it were available in the US. bikesandbeers (547) - san diego, California, USA - NOV 23, 2005
on tap in interlaken. Golden beer with a white head. Smelled like a typical lager. flavor is clean with a nice tangy finish. Of course, who cares about the beer when you are in one of the most beautiful places in the world?
