Bottled. Pale yellow, brief head. Clean, fruity and light bodied with salty, bitter finish.

fiulijn (20492) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 14, 2003
Sampled unfiltered, Zwickelbier
Cloudy blond color; nice head and lace. Simple aroma, but better taste than the Alpenperle.

DSG (14784) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - MAY 2, 2010
Bottle at a tasting. Thanks zvikar. Clear pale golden with a white head. Aroma is hoppy and grassy with some malt, a bit of graininess and hay notes. Flavor starts with sweetish malt and graininess, and later turns into moderate bitterness. Light-bodied.

Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - NOV 26, 2001
transparent golden colour, giant head, fine herbal aroma, full-bodied with a long dry finish

kevnic2008 (11996) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - NOV 28, 2013
Golden beer with a whitish head. Light malt aroma. Light malt flavor with grass and light spice. Medium bodied

blipp (9268) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUL 26, 2010
I had this on draft and from a bottle, and it was better on draft. Light crackery malty with a light minerally note. The bottle had just a touch of diacetyl.

berkshirejohn (6499) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - MAR 30, 2011
33cl bottle at Piz Gloria at the top of the Schilthorn. Pale straw with a tight white head; araoma of leafy Germanic hops; medium bidy with a grainy flavour; and a crisp clean lightly bitter finish. Rather good, but that may have just been down to drinking it at an altitude of 3000 meters.

JStax (6482) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - APR 8, 2017
Draft pour in Interlaken. The beer is a clear gold with a white head of foam. The aroma is bready and doughy. Sweet and toasty taste. Medium body and medium carbonation.

zvikar (6172) - Ramat Gan, ISRAEL - APR 26, 2010
@ a tasting, thanks Kate & Jenia, pours pale yellow with a small white head, aroma of corn and cereals, flavor of corn, cereals, bread and pleasant bitterness, light to medium body.

RichardGretton (4770) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 19, 2004
Golden beer with a fluffy white head, and a malty dryly hopped aroma. The flavour is dry with a long lasting finish. Overall a reasonable lager.
