Draft pour in Interlaken. The beer is a clear gold with a white head of foam. The aroma is bready and doughy. Sweet and toasty taste. Medium body and medium carbonation.

UPDATED: MAR 20, 2009 I bought a pint of this in Interlaken, Switzerland. I loved it! Very tasty! Makes for a good excuse for a return to such a beautiful country.

My go-to light beer in CH. Not a great aroma but excellent taste and finish. Almost sweet on the palate but light and very easy to drink. This is a necessity to have on hand.

Golden beer with a fluffy white head, and a malty dryly hopped aroma. The flavour is dry with a long lasting finish. Overall a reasonable lager.

Druaght. Golden yellow colour, wellbalanced malt/hop aroma and flavour with a light hop finish.

Hand-carried from Switzerland (thanks "N"). Touted as "The Local Beer of Interlaken." Great example of the style. Little lasting head, but nice lacing; clear yellow color. Good mouthful, with smooth, mild taste that was quite drinkable. No, you won’t find complexity here; but compared to so many other Euro Pale Lagers, this one is well done. I wish it were available in the US.
