The Dan Journal #268. Tasted 7/2/09. 500ml Bottle. Mildly hazy with a pale golden hue. Spiraling white head. Grainy cereal aromas with a hint of strawberries and faint hops. Light to medium bodied with a grainy malt note. Tight yet controlled effervescence. Faint citrus note. Dry finish that lingers on the tongue. Crisp and tasty.

Pours hazy light yellow with rich white head. Well carbonated. Strong grain aroma with yeasty tones, some floral aromas as well. Tart, acidy dry grass flavor. Acidy and full bodied on palate. Finishes with a dry bitter hoppy aftertaste.

Recht klar für ungefiltert, hellgolden. Normschaum. Fruchtige Hopfenaromen und etwas undefinierbares. Spritzig, angenehm Bitter, gut Co2. Mittelvoll, etwas Bisquit. Abgang malzig-trocken. Ein paar Ecken mehr wäre gut, aber erfrischend.

Heldere citroengele kleur met een goede kraag. Ruikt mout kruiden, citrus. Smaakt, citrus, mout, kruiden. Bitterzoete afdronk. Goed te doen

UPDATED: JUL 14, 2003 hazy blond colour, few foam, light fruity aroma (orange, lemon) with notes of peanuts, crisp, medium-bodied, tart with a dry malty finish - refreshing and balanced but lacking of character

A bit watery, but I enjoyed it and the sour tinge makes it better than your average lager

Purchased in Switzerland, somewhere between Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen: Bright golden in the first pour; became cloudier -- and tastier -- with the sediment from the second pour. Malts were chalky, dry and cracker-like, with only a slight sweetness. Bitterness was zingy, followed by some herbs and spices. Faint yeast flavors surfaced in the background. Nothing spectacular, but not too shabby, either.

Draft and bottle. Pours golden yellow with a white head. Pale malty and grainy with some nice grassy notes. Some slight diacetyl showed up once. Not bad.

(bottle) hazy golden colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of floral hops, fresh wort and some light barnyard, with a hint of raisins and lavender. flavour is mostly the same, slightly starchy pale malts, herbal hops and cobwebs, with some more sugar icing, yeast and a slightly astringent finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.
