Brewed using Cascade, Columbus and Chinook hops, California Grown malted barley and crystal malt. A mild caramel sweetness gives way to a fresh pine & grapefruit citrus note and balanced bitterness for a dry and refreshing but flavorful ale.

In the past, this beer is brewed by Peter Hoey using Hoppy Brewing Company’s equipment for Ruhstaller.

didn’t know this was retired, and didn’t see a date. Seems older than is ideal, but not completely stale either. Decent beer, definitely overpriced as is much of what Ruhstaller puts out. Crystal malt up front, which is still nice. Hops seem to be faded. Lightly aromatic and bitter.

Bomber. A huge head flows up from the bottle even after a couple of pours. The foam is golden tinted and very light and fluffy. Sticky dry lacing. A clear amber beer. A grainy and fruit aroma. The flavor is malts and grains to begin. It is a softer flavor. Hops are light and fruity. Very little bitterness. This is pretty much to style but it is just not a favored style of mine.

Bottle. Dark amber brown beer with a strong head. The aroma is lightly roasted, malty and hopped. The flavour is quite roasted and chocolatey with plenty of hops and bitterness at the finish. Overall a nice dark hopped and roasted beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
