Bottle probably with some minor flaws, very minor, or just a bit badly kept since aroma wasn’t very fresh, with a very minor note of vomit. Said that, it’s a good beer, quite dry, with a pleasant bitterness (both hops and roasted malts) that balances the malt sweetness (biscuit, caramel, toffee and some chocolate). Hops - American varieties (resin, pine) - are not too present in aroma and flavor, just enough to balance everything, good job!

2016 catch up - Bottle at home - Nice and very well made brown ale. Smooth, plenty of malt and a good biscuit flavour. And a definite hint of pleasant caramel too.
