Bottle. Toffee malt and tin aroma. Clear dark amber color with nice tan head. Lightly sweet toffee malt flavor. Watery body. Nice flavor but way too light. pivnizub (10907) - Bochum, GERMANY - AUG 22, 2010
Bottle: Light chestnut-amber coloured with a small off-white head; caramelly-toasty nose with a certain - like in many english ales - fruitiness; average sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied, a bit fizzy; drier caramelly and bitter finish. Quite O.K. .... MoritzF (10199) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - MAR 10, 2007
(bottle) Quite pale Dunkel as it is “only“ amber-coloured with a medium, not very persistent, slightly off-white foamy head. Discreet aroma of light-sweet malt, slightly toasty with a touch of honey and shy notes of herbal hops and diacetyl. Moderately sweet flavour, toast-malty, slightly bready taste with light notes of honey and again diacetyl; slightly sweet malt-accented finish with a minimal bitterness. Disappointing brew from an otherwise reliable brewer. Erzengel (9760) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - JAN 3, 2015

Bottle 50cl from Quack-Duck thanks. An amber brown beer with good head. Smell is very malty and toasted like. Aroma is malty, caramel like, with toasted notes and quite sweet. Very long aftertaste, a nice dunkel beer very malty and cereal like. Miksu (5052) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - AUG 31, 2010
0.5 l bottle. Pale amber color. Sweet, toffeish, caramelly, nutty and bready aroma. The flavor is very much the same with some berryish notes and low bitterness. Has lost some freshness. teddybeer (4264) - Madrid, SPAIN - FEB 18, 2012
50cl bottle at Alquitara. Brown colour with an easy formation of a creamy and frothy tan head. Aroma is moderate dry fruits, malty and slightly sweet. Flavour is moderate malty, toasty, slightly bready and a final moderate bittery with an average duration. Carbonation is medium. Body is medium to high. Dark orange colored with little yellow head. Sweet toffee dominates in aroma with some dry nutty tone, some bready and thin roasted note here as well. Medium bodied. Flavor is also good with same toffee and thin roastiness, some fruity note here as well. Good and straightforward dunkel.
