Dark orange colored with little yellow head. Sweet toffee dominates in aroma with some dry nutty tone, some bready and thin roasted note here as well. Medium bodied. Flavor is also good with same toffee and thin roastiness, some fruity note here as well. Good and straightforward dunkel. yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAY 11, 2011
Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It pours a crystal clear dark golden body and a small, dense, off-white to beige head. Caramel dominates the aroma, but leaves some room for fruity hops and grains. Hints of honey. The flavor is quite bitter, with sweet honey notes and some fruity hops. Medium body, decent carbonation. The finish is nutty with honey hints, caramel and some fruity hoppy bittering notes. A beer that starts rather boring but turns out quite nice. 110128 kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 29, 2012
The flavour is bitter-roasty, dark-malty, flowery-herb. A lot of flavours, drinkable, but nothing special. 11/9/9/9/10/10 neur0 (1275) - Hannover, GERMANY - SEP 19, 2012
(Fasche) Es hat eine warme hellbraune Farbe, ist klar filtriert mit einer leicht bräunlichen schaumkrone. Das Aroma ist malzig bis honiglich. Der Geschmack ist wie das Aroma nir recht schlank. Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JAN 30, 2009
courtesy of Laurent Mousson - clear red-amber colour with a little beige foam; aroma of caramel, red fruits and paperboard; medium-bodied, a light bitterness, very dry malty and caramelish finish - atypical

Bottle: Light chestnut-amber coloured with a small off-white head; caramelly-toasty nose with a certain - like in many english ales - fruitiness; average sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied, a bit fizzy; drier caramelly and bitter finish. Quite O.K. .... TBone (17535) - Pori, FINLAND - AUG 25, 2010

Clear copper brown color, small off-white head. Rye bready flavor with hints of toasted sugar. Medium-bodied. Very malty flavor. Some rye, toasted sugar also in the flavor. Light hops in the finish and aftertaste together with faint sweetness. Not really a dunkel I like but quite robust brew. New brewery for me.
0.5 l bottle. Pale amber color. Sweet, toffeish, caramelly, nutty and bready aroma. The flavor is very much the same with some berryish notes and low bitterness. Has lost some freshness. fonefan (49343) - VestJylland, DENMARK - JAN 31, 2011
