Golden and orange pour from bottle at lake, white bubbly head. Flowery and wheat aroma. A little bland but easy to drink. Wheat and slight citrus taste also. Not bad. boozedude (2228) - Des Moines, Iowa, USA - AUG 12, 2014

Pours a hazy yellow with a big head and nice lacing on the glass.
The aroma is husky malt with a little fruitiness. Not offensive, nor appealing really.
The flavor is enjoyable for sure, lightly fruity & mildly bitter. A little grainy but it’s well balanced all together,
Aroma is wheat, light fruit/lemons and beery. The flavor is wheat, fruit/lemons, mild sweetness and a mix of beery and slightly tangy in the finish. fidelis83 (2454) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - JUN 20, 2014
Cloudy gold pour with a 1 finger, creamy to soapy white head with lots of small white floaties. Aroma is full of wheat, light floral and spicy hops, a little lemony citrus, toast and hay. Flavor is wheat and toast up front, then some butted corn, floral, spicy and acidic hops, hay and yellow apples. Light body with a slightly chalky feel throughout and a medium, slightly sharp and blanketing carbonation. Very strange stuff, it might just be an unfiltered English Golden Ale with a lot of wheat in it. Strange, but pretty average.

This is a blonde ale, not a hefe. Pours a very cloudy light orange, like pineapple juice. Aromas of citrus and grain. Medium body. Primary flavors of bitter grain, wheat and tart citrus. No sweet hefe notes. Very refreshing and more bitter than average for a golden ale. Good summer beer. This is the obligatory lighter offering from a good brewery that has more interesting options. Bottle. Pour is cloudy gold, lots of wheat. Hops were almost non-existent, just a lot of wheat for me, too much. Nuffield (4180) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - SEP 30, 2013
Yellow with a big head. Grassy aroma, not your usual hops. Clean, flat, fluffy and thin. Not a great beer in its own right, and not a great example of a hefeweizen. (bottle, 2013 Ale Jail festival, St. Paul, MN) josh55408 (7) - St Paul, Minnesota, USA - SEP 29, 2013 does not count
Tasted at Autumn Brew Review, Minneapolis. Was so sick of beers that taste like they were made with hop syrup that this less strong ale was a joy. Cloudy, foam sat on top like a biscuit, bready hefe taste without much fruit or odor, just a good beer. ApisAles (1575) - Greenbelt, Maryland, USA - AUG 25, 2013
Hazy yellow pour with a white head. Kudos for using local wheat, but overall a pretty uninteresting beer. Slightly grainy, no hefe character, no hop character. Mild and cereal like. Hmm.
