Pours a clear light amber colour with a big frothy white head. Aroma is a light mix of grains and caramel malts with not much else really. Taste is mildly bitter initially, which is followed by a lingering sweetness. Light body, average carbonation, thinner on the palate. A very enjoyable bitter.
Pours a nice amber colour. Taste is definitely more bitter than your average esb but still very tasty. kaser (6220) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 29, 2016

Appearance: clear pale amber with one finger of growing fluffy off-white head, excellent retention and chunky lacing. (4/5) Aroma: grainy caramel and biscuity malt, citrus, pine, grassy and light floral. (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter. (7/10) Medium body, moderate carbonation, off-dry medium duration bitter finish. (3/5)
A bitter, that’s actually bitter? What’s next, a premium lager that’s actually premium? Solid ESB, with a decent hop presence only slightly behind a biscuity caramel malt. Pleasant body with a drying bitter finish. Solid example of a style that usually fails to impress. (14/20) cmacklin (1128) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - APR 30, 2016
On tap. Pours a clear dark amber with a medium, long lasting, creamy, off-white head that laces. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, bread and grassy hops. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, dried fruit and grass with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Decent. Lightly hazy with white head that leaves good lacing. Pleasant bitterness though ends up being kind of one-dimensional by the end of the pint. gnoff (10226) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - JUN 20, 2015
