Bomber. Unclear golden yellow, fine white foam settles quickly. Citrusy fruity yeasty aroma and taste, candy sugar and spice, some noble influence. Slight cloudy yellow pour soap bubbles. Aroma of tart yeast some dusty skunk german hops. Tastes super yeasty like a belgian ale. Briny. Some vineous notes. Alcohol burns on the aftertaste. Slight driness to finish, but mostly wet. I don’t appreciate the german hops here. If I wanted their flavor I would seek out a pale lager. Why is there candi sugar in this?! A pale beer with generous white head. Impression of sweet banana on the nose. Taste? I put the bottle in the freezer for a few minutes to put more chill on it, but initial impression is that it’s a pissy, insipid beer like Budweiser. We shall see...
Chilled it to the brink of ice crystal formation, then poured out the rest of the bottle and let it sit about 5 minutes. Well, turns out this ain’t no Budweiser clone. A nice bit of light but complex fruit goin’ on here. A great summer thirst quencher!
Bomber. Pours gold, not much head. Moderate herb and spice in nose, not much fruitiness compared to many in the style. Some peppers in flavour, evident wheat but doesn’t go overboard so retains its saison characteristics, finish is fairly dry. 650 ml bottle. Pours a clear gold with almost no head. Aromas of yeast and resin with perhaps some notes of ginger and coriander. Not sure what is trying to be achieved - flavours of banana, resin, and wheat.
