Nephilium (1821) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - OCT 23, 2016
Grassy and earthy aroma, pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with a full white head. Slightly fruity note to start with, which then fades to crisp malt flavor, and spicy hops. There’s just a touch of tartness in the finish here, and the beer is very dry. Light bodied and very refreshing. Another great Belgian from Russian River.

Light pale yellow pour, clear with a slight white head. Clean, crisp nose and taste. Slightly hoppy, really nice balance between a bit of malt, classic hops and an estery Belgian.

Pours gold into a tulip. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving trailing sheets to coat surface. Caramel and resin aromas. Sharp with hay and sourdough upfront turning to citrus and resin before the lasting pith finish.

Draft pour pint during my first ever visit to Russian River. Already quite a memorable beer with the setting alone. Hazy golden yellow pour. Has a Belgian yeast and spicy grain aroma that you have to dive into the glass a but to get. A tropical fruity hop profile that leads to a desert dry finish. Full of flavor though. Has a lemon flavor without much tart to pair. Overall a solid Belgian.
