On tap at Russian River, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Nose brings out subtle Belgian yeast, cereal and toasted bread. Flavour is similar, bringing out cereal, Belgian yeast, and floral notes. Nice and dry on the palate, finishing zesty and florally. Not Russian Rivers most adventurous Belgian beer, but very well-brewed nonetheless.

Sample at the brewpub. This beer pours a hazy golden color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops and biscuit malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, doughy malt and yeast. The finish is mildly tart with a fruit and malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Growler from Liz. Came with a RR glass too. Pours hazy orange gold with a frothy/foamy white head. Aroma very fresh fruit. Belgian yeast esters. Maybe a touch of earth or barnyard. Med + body. Flavor is somewhat earthy Belgian - spice, fruit esters, particularly some clove and banana. Maybe pineapple. Its very fresh tasting, and Im thinking theres a hop mix which has fruit and earth hop aspects. Certainly not pine. Anyway its finishing dry and rather hoppy, tho the hop isnt the harsh NW citrus burning style. Good ale.

neuromatt (1225) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 23, 2012
On tap at the brew pub, served in a stem glass. Pours hazy orange-golen with a tiny white head that fades slowly, leaving a small amount of lace. The nose has pale malts, combined with caramel, orange and apricot, along with subtle hops. The flavour is moderately sweet, with honey, flowers, orange, fruit, spice and a slight hoppy bitterness. The finish is long, dry and somewhat bitter. On the palate, it is medium in body with a dry texture and soft carbonation. Overall, this is a nice Belgian style blond ale. 2012-02-19
