Draft: big bretty aroma with notes of caramelized bread and a touch of PNW hops. Dominated by bret, but is that a bad thing? IndianaRed (4617) - Boise, Idaho, USA - SEP 14, 2007
On Tap at the BP

on tap at the Toronado RR -tion night. hazy golden yellow color, white short creamy head. aroma is rotting raspberry, wet worms in the street, and tart like white wine too. right about that point bartender Paul started saying, Welcome to the Toronado wine bar!" to people because there was a row of us drinking white grapey RR -tion beers. flavor is tart like sour cherries, grapes, and unripe stone fruits. lambic-like gueze taste. funky barnyard too. crisp aftertaste. marcus (10222) - Sacramento, California, USA - APR 27, 2007
On tap at Toronado. This dark golden ale poured with a thin off-white head. The flavor starts off slightly sweet, then turns tart with a bitter barnyard finish. The brett is very evident and adds a nice level of complexity to this fine brew.

UPDATED: FEB 20, 2007 sample at pub. Another ale with brett that I need to aquire a taste for. Great complexity that I wasn’t able to truley enjoy with a sample. MI2CA (1340) - Noblesville, Indiana, USA - FEB 12, 2007
Tulip at RR - Aroma of grapefruit, earthy hops, mild horseblanket and some funk. Pours hazy gold with a small head and good lacing. Flavor is first sour brett and yeast followed by spicy citrus hops. Palate is tart, tangy, snappy and sticky. Interesting and tasty. If it wasn’t for the incredible lineup I would have drank much more of this. kmweaver (3207) - Petaluma, California, USA - JAN 27, 2007
Brickskeller, Russian River / Allagash Lovefest. Medium, golden appearance; white head with fine-bubbled lacing. Nice tart brett character in the aroma, plenty of citrus, chewy grapefruit, and tart cherries. Medium-to-full, lightly tart mouthfeel: lots of citrus character, tropical fruit, and well-balanced brett. Medium, tart and citrus finish. Very tasty. This was a treat to find this growler I had for about a year still fresh and alive after 12 months in my garage. A super soft nose of citrus, funk and some light fruit. Tasted pretty much the same. Everything was really blended nicely and insanely smooth. Not all that dry, like most RR beers can be. BückDich (5464) - McCall, Idaho, USA - DEC 12, 2006
Tap: Gold, nice white head and lacing. Nose of bright grass, accentuated pale malt, nice hops, clean flavor. Light sweetness to highly the bitterness. Finishes grassy, citric. Good, but I was looking for a bit more of the brett showing through.
