Poured a foggy orange color with a tight, creamy white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of brett, citrus fruits, some mustiness, and peaches. Taste of more citrus fruits, herbs, some tart grape, a little bit of soapiness, and finishing with a grassy hoppiness. Thanks cquiroga! Hazy gold with teeny flecks in suspension. Tiny-bubbled white cap of foam. Heavenly nose of brett, bubblegum, bandage phenols, peach, and lavender. Light floral hop and white grape scents. Fuzzy, but soft, carbonation. Initial sip reveals harmonious balance between crispy malts, pears, and well-rounded, but sufficiently brisk and spicy brett. Soft acidity gently causes the cheeks to pucker, but only for a brief moment, as the body’s abundant softness and crunchy toasted-husk depth restores balance. Juicy floral hop notes and powdery lavender residue belie the minerally clasp of brett-induced bitterness. The sugary sweetness is bit too prominent, but the brightness is able to withstand it. Finishes persistently crunchy and sweetly malty, though the sweetness is slowly augmented by a sassy brett sparkle and juicy hop resurgence. Shows uncanny similarity to Damnation, minus the brett. Thanks a million, cquiroga. droopy49 (97) - Lancaster, California, USA - DEC 24, 2005
On tap at Russian River Brewing Co., nice clear golden color. Pungent fruity aroma. The flavor was very interesting, unlike any other beer I have had before. It was sour and slightly bitter. I would definitely have this one again. Veeve (312) - Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA - DEC 23, 2005
on tap at The Russian River Brewing Company in Santa Rosa, CA. pours a clear golden hue. little aroma. the flavors charge ahead strong and then fade away as if the tastes are progressing down a water slide or rollercoaster in your mouth. light hops, caramel malts, mild citrus. o.k. zug4abby (288) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 21, 2005
Drafts @ Liar’s Club with Sick_boy! Pours a gorgeous golden yellow color with a decent head and sticky lacing. Aroma is slightly grassy with hints of fruitiness. Flavor is very interesting, i didn’t particularly enjoy my first couple of sips, but it became a wonderful beer by the third sip! Flavor is slightly funky and has hints of grassiness and a slightly sour finish! I really enjoyed this beer and hope I make it back to Liar’s Club before it’s kicked!

Draft @ liars club-----Pours a golden hue with a head with nice lacing. Aromas of light yeast, a little funk and some fruitiness. Flavors of the same with a light sourness similar to Panil. A very smooth finish with little bitterness. Bubblegum, a litte citrus and a clean finish. One of the better russian river’s I’ve had lately although the chalkboard at the liars club wrote it down as defication.............I thought it was kinda funny.

Draft. Golden amber beer with a whitish head. Soured aroma, but nothing very strong. Tart flavor with a bit of green apple. Creamy mouthfeel. Tartness complements the beer very nicely - it’s not at all overpowering. Dry finish.
