Very interesting blend of hoppy beer and farmhouse. From tap, foaming white head. Orange, tastes very farmhouse lemon, spice. Light body. Hops add a nice kick. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Russian River. Arrived at the table a hazed light yellow color with a small white head that left stringy lacing. Faint aroma, citric and sour apples. Flavor is sour apples, citric and a little funky, lemon and herbal notes as well. Crisp carbonation, medium body and refreshing to drink.

Cloudy yellow pour, fluffy white head. Nice clean saison. Grassy, apples, green table grapes, light spice, a tad earthy and yeasty.

Sampled on draft at GABF 2014. Pours a clear yellow with foamy white head. Aroma is clean and yeasty. Mouthfeel is soft and lightly carbonated with notes of yeast, clean malt, grass, spice and wheat. Nice, clean and simple.

GABF 2014 Rating (Denver, CO). Pours a pale yellow lemon hue, decent haziness, frothy bright white creamy head as a thicker film, nice lacing and retention. Aromas are spicy and yeasty, some gentle fruit, bitter earth and florals. Some firm yeast, estery fruit shows banana, apple and pear. Gentle citrus, a bit floral. Initial is a bit soapy, fruity, faint bubblegum, pear and apple. Touches of dry and spicy yeast, straw, mellow fruit. Stillk a smaller body leads. Itself to a more dry and spicy, gently bitter backend. Wjole some nice fruit jabs come in the nose and front, the beer itself finishes dry, clean with just a mellow spiciness. Touches of gentle tropical fruit, citrus. Tasty stuff.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma has a slight grain note with a bit of a brad and biscuit character. Light hop character, floral and citrus. Moderate ester notes of red apple and pear with some medium light pepper phenolic character. Pours a slightly cloudy, pale, yellow gold with a small, white head that recedes to the edges where it lingers. Moderate lacing and faint legs. Flavor had a faint sweetness with some light grain and biscuit notes and a hint of light caramel. Medium notes of past and over ripe stone fruit with some light red apple character. Medium peppery phenolic character. Light floral and grassy hop notes with a bit of wood. Moderately high bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, an alright Saison but definitely not anything special. I am not a fan of the year character which feels a bit rough on the edges to me.

.this was the only non-ipa or sour we bothered with at RR last week, and i thought it was great. textbook saison...floral, fruity, with enough barnyard funk in the aroma and flavor to go around. id get it if it were ever bottled."

On tap at the brewpub, pours hazy orange with medium tiny bubbled white head, lasting with lots of lace. Aromas and flavor are Belgian yeast, pepper, wit fruit/spice, light hop flavor but bitterness is present. Aftertaste is malty and filled with some bread.

Growler via nickd717. Thanks again buddy. Shared with quite a few local BAs.

A - Pours straw yellow with a dense two finger tall head leaving small streaks of lacing down the glass.

S - Smells like damp earth. Plenty of barnyard funk from the brett mixed with some light spice, most notably clove. I was expecting a bit more citrus in this one.

T - Lots of brett funk up front slowly giving way to a mix of bready yeast and light spice, mostly clove and a dash of pepper. Finish is chewy with a bit of lingering funk. I liked this one but it really needed that citric note to round it out. I hope to have this again one day.

M - Light body and flavor with moderate carbonation. Nice, soft, feel on the pallet. This was extremely easy to drink, I went back for more quite a few times.

O - I really enjoyed this one quite a bit. The flavors were simple, all be it a little dull, but it was very easy to drink. Thanks for the chance nick.
