COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Blonde Ale aged in Chardonnay barrels with brett, lacto, and pedio (base beer is Temptation). This sour barrel-aged blonde ale has 30 pounds per barrel of fresh raspberries to make a beautiful reddish/pink beer! Nicely balanced with sweet raspberry and tartness. This beer is made only once a year in conjunction with our month-long fundraiser for the Sutter Breast Care Center of Santa Rosa during Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 100% of the proceeds of this beer will be used to help men and women in our community in their fight against breast cancer!

2013 & 2014 Info: The base was 80% Temptation and 20% Sonambic blend. It was about 7 or 8 weeks on the fruit at around one pound/gallon.

Thank you Mathieu87 + PriorL for the effort! Growler sampled @ Samson en Geert Bierproef Avond. Deep very bright head, very pretty bright colour, zero head, looks flat. Nose is very mineral, huge interesting mineral profile, mineral stones, strongly lactic with huge amount of raspberry pits in the background. Taste is very mineral, raspberry pits, touch watery possible due to it being close to flat, mineral stones, hugely lactic raspberry, acidic, mineral, faintest dash of vinegar, nicely puckering. Strongly lactic mineral body, near flat. Very solid, interesting, pleasantly puckering. Looking back at my rating & going by memory, I liked this one more than the 2012 version that I tried in 2013.
