COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hopped-Up Blonde Ale, 5.4%ABV
Not really a Blonde Ale, not a Pale Ale, not an IPA. Happy Hops is a light colored refreshing ale with a pronounced hop character from the experimental 369 variety (Mosaic).

You may also see a special version of this beer once a year called Happy Hops Harvest, which is brewed with fresh "wet" hops grown locally. Available year round

Pours a light golden. Aroma is mild: pine and citrus. Flavor is of hops, pine, citrus; like a light IPA. Very tasty and refreshing

(En ft au OBriens): Malts miells machables avec une rondeur collante et une scheresse aussi tranchante. Cest vgtal avec des notes de poires mais ce quon retiendra, cest la finale sche herbace la hauteur de sa corpulence.

August 3, 2016 - on tap at RRBC. Clear golden pour with some head and lacing. A bit stronger on the hops than malt and soapy after taste.

PhillyCraft (6274) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 2, 2016
Draft at Toronado, pours very lightly hazy gold color with small white head and not much lacing. Flavor is astringent and overly bitter hop, ash, toasty malt, pine, and a touch of grapefruit. Light bodied. This one was lacking and a good interpretation of modern day Russian River hoppy beer. They are getting left in the dust by other new companies.

Sample at brewery. Despite name not very happy. Wet up front and hops come late, decent finish
