Single hop cascade. Pours yellow with white head. Taste is some pineapple and hop bitterness finished very sweet. AcctError236499 (226) - Oakland, California, USA - APR 22, 2013
Fresh growler shared at a BBQ. Pours pale orange/yellow, a bit cloudy with a nice white head. Swirled around a bit to unlock the carbonation. No legs, slight lacing. Very odd aromas of sour fruit, pear skins, and some floral hops. Doesn’t really fit the IPA tag, more of a fruity Belgian pale or something. Taste is somewhat similar with that odd fruit flavor, bready finish, slight bitterness. Not really any citrus, but more of that earth, floral hops. The beer has a nice mouth feel overall, with medium carbonation. Not sure what hops were used this year, but I am not sure I am a fan. Seems like an odd release for Russian River, but I’m glad they keep producing small pub only beers to keep visiting the brewery fun and interesting. kmweaver (3207) - Petaluma, California, USA - APR 19, 2013
Growler, courtesy of a friend. Thanks, yo! Cascade something variety? Pours a murky, honey-orange color; off-white head with fine-bubbled lacing. A bit of basic, floral and herbal hop character in the aroma; not much here, oddly. Medium body; lively carbonation; again, basic crystallized sugar and earthy, floral hops; definitely not an IPA, and a pretty bland pale ale. Totally an odd release from Russian River, and I think the Cascade ______ hops aren’t doing much here. Eh. Balanced finished of candy sugar and light bitterness. tkrjukoff (4335) - SWEDEN - APR 18, 2013
Pours cloudy pale golden amber with a small white head leaving la e. Aroma is sweet malty fruity citric. Flavor is a bit sourish acidy citric malty bready and has some sweetness. Nice fruity bitter finish. brokensail (16633) - Dublin, California, USA - FEB 11, 2010
A: The pour is a golden orange color with a somewhat minimal head and nice lacing.
S: The nose contains some herbal, earthy, and citrus (oranges) from the hops. Not much in the way of malt in the nose.
T: The taste is much like the nose. Not overly bitter, but a definite presence. Noticeable orange flavor as well.
M: On the lighter side of things, which is by no means a bad thing in this case.
D: Very drinkable as it is not overpowering like some of the other hoppy Russian River beers.

On tap. Meh. It’s hard to get excited with this beer, even if it is RR. Give me their house IPA any day. The aroma has a nice showing of citrus and a touch of iced tea. Flavor has some minor citrus character, a touch of bready malts with a lingering bitter finish. Great idea, just a so-so beer. cprochak (590) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 27, 2009

Appearance: clear light gols, fine off white head
Aroma: light sweet crystal malt aroma with light floral and citrus hops
Flavor: lightly sweet crystal malt flavor, light citrus hops, light lingering bitterness
Aroma: 6/10; Appearance: 6/10; Flavor: 6/10; Palate: 6/10; Overall: 11/20
Drank it on tap at the brewery. A very light IPA, almost watery. The single hop recipe makes it unidimensional.
