COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Each time we make this ale we pick a different single variety of hops and use them exclusively in the brew. The malt bill stays fairly consistent from batch to batch so as to allow the distinctive hop flavors to come through. Here are just a few of the hops used in the past: Simcoe, Vanguard, Sterling, YCR-004, Amarillo, Azzaca, Idaho 7 (NJ7), Satus, Santium, Tomahawk, and Columbus. Available on draft seasonally.O.G.: 1.060;50 BUS.

Editor: Please make note of the hop variety when ordering and rate under the correct variant rather than this generic entry if possible

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear copper body that has thin gold hues and supports an off white head. The aroma offers up biscuit like malts and earthy floral and spicy hoppiness The taste delivers biscuit like malts and lightly roasted malts to go along with earthy spicy hops, some bitter citrus hops, a dash of tropical fruity hoppiness and then some floral hops.

3 oz chilled pour from tap into cylindrical taster as part of Russian Rivers everything on tap sampled (16 beers this time around) at the brewery itself. I realize that drinking 16 different 3 oz pours is not ideal for proper rating, but when will I ever have an opportunity like this again? A little tropical fruit and a pleasant bitterness .
