Pours black. Not a powerful aroma, bread and caramel. Good flavor, roasty, smokey flavors and a little caramel sweetness. Not an overpowering stout, but enjoyable.

Santa Rosa, Ca - on tap at Russian River. Black as tar pour with a sticky frothy mocha colored head. Fresh fragrant aroma of espresso and dark chocolate. Chewy flavor with some roasted smoky notes, espresso, fresh earth and just a hint of chocolate. Mouthfeel is thick and creamy. Draft at the brewpub. Aroma of creamy chocolate and coffee. Taste has soft creamy chocolate, mocha coffee and a soft finish. Nice.

Pours a deep opaque chocolate brown with thick nitro off white head that totally coats the glass as I drink it down. Roasty aroma. Light bodied dry, roasty but clean, chocolately with a bakers chocolate bitterness.
