Piney and grapefruit flavor. A great pale ale. I could drink this all day every day.

On tap at Monk's for RR/SN diner. This pours a gorgeous, glowing golden orange with a fluffy, tightly bubbled off-white head. Aroma of dank Simcoe hops, freshly tilled soil, freshly cut onions and chives, subtle citrus, and some more sweet, sweet onion funk. Holy shit, the aroma is DANK. Medium to light bodied with a very oily, resinous, slick, beautiful palate. Flavor is ripe tangerine, clementine, mandarin orange and honeydew, with some amazing oniony, savory bite. Finish is clean and oiled out. Holy hell. This is, hands down, the best pale ale I've ever tried, rivaled only by FFF Zombie Dust. Sublime pale ale. Thanks for the taste, Vinnie. Please send more of this to Philly.

On tap at Monks for Russian Riv/Sierra Nevada dinner, pours a slightly hazy gold color with medium white head and very nice lacing patterns. Aromas are overwhelming simcoe and creamy melon hop notes, light onion cheese, cantalope, grass. Taste is pineapple, grapefruit, dank resinous pine, lemon fuel. Perfectly done, and only a little bit bitter. Smoother then Hill Farm Edward. Amazing. Would love to have growlers of this to sess on. Silky palate. Growler. Easily one of the best beers I've ever had. The depth of flavor was absolutely amazing. I think that the only thing holding this back was low carbonation, and that may have just been due to the growler being in a box for a week from CA to PA. Bone211 (7) - - JUL 8, 2012 does not count
Great full IPA flavor with a lighter body. Great for hot summer day. Rich transparent gold color.

Beautiful deep gold with a frothy white head. Pine forrest aroma - amazing! Pine notes carry over into the flavor with a sumptuous resiny character. Body is moderate - just right for a quenching pale ale. Wonderful beer. copestx (227) - Vesterbro, DENMARK - MAY 22, 2016
Tap at RR. My favorite APA. Guava, tangerine flavors, superb malt backbone, deliciously hoppy without overwhelming the palate, exactly what an APA should do. ngeunit1 (1555) - Waltham, Massachusetts, USA - FEB 8, 2012
A - This beer pours a a golden-orange color that is fairly clear with a finger of frothy white head atop. The head fades down slowly leaving behind some nice lace clinging to the sides of the glass.
S - The aroma is full of lots of pine and citrus hops smells. There is some nice grapefruit and topical fruits as well as some floral elements.
T - The flavor starts off with lots of fresh piney and tropical hop flavor with some mellow bitterness that starts to grow on the tongue. Bit of grapefruit as well. Through the middle, the grapefruit, orange, and pineapple hop flavors get quite a bit stronger with some stronger bitterness coming through as well. There is just enough sweet toasted malts to keep a nice balance as well. The finish is full of pine resin and citrus hops with some more bitterness and some light sweet malts.
M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth with a really nice dry and bitter finish.
D - Very drinkable. The hop flavor and aroma is just fantastic on this beer. It is so fresh and strong from start to end without being overpowering. The beer also stays quite sessionable. Odysseyalien (73) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 29, 2012
A very delicious pale ale. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I wish it was easier to get in NJ.
