Bottle. Complex aroma of sakura cherries, figs, and dark Venezuelan chocolate engulf your olfactory senses, while hints of cloves and nutmeg dance around your nostrils. The initial metallic scents blew off quite quickly leaving this lovely bouquet of ripe fruit, chocolate and spice. Highly carbonated, the cherries and chocolate return with a bit of french roasted coffee and toast coming through on the end of the palate. Surprisingly light and effervescent for the style, but also not very hot for a 9% beer.
Draft at the brewpub. Dark pour. Aroma of yeast eaters, caramelised malt and nuts. Taste has soft hazelnut, ester, caramelised malt and a nice finish with some ripe fruit. Tasty. koleminer20 (3599) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - JUN 20, 2017
Bottle at Side Project Cellar. 375 mL bottle shared by George. Thanks dude. The pour a darker brown with a light khaki head and a few spots of lace. The aroma is interesting. Lots of dark fruits and a strong Belgian yeast. It’s a little cardboardy, but not too shabby. The flavor is much of the same. Dark fruits, heavy malts, and a light sweetness. Not too bad. The mouth feel is a little heavy with a soft carbonation and a lingeringly sweet and fruity yeast finish. Maryannw (17) - California, USA - JUN 7, 2017

Bottle date: 11/26/16. Dark fruit (dates/figs), caramel notes, I get a hint of cigarette ash? on the finish, slight bitterness. Quite a bit of particulates when first poured. Not boozy at all for 9%.
