all the other ratings are either for a different recipe or something! tap from russian river brewing company claiming 6.5% and 100% Brettanomyces, clear and bright golden body, tiny soft head that disappeared to a fine ring, very sweet flavor that was very round and almost buttery - hints of clove and soft sugar sweet peaches, carbonation was almost perfection, i fell in love with this immediatlely! just wish i didnt have to drive to santa rosa to try it
From tap at Russian River, Santa Rosa. Aroma is Bretty barnyard funk with tart fruits, citrussy lemon, a touch of stone fruit including apricot. Flavour is a nice medium sour. Body is medium. It’s like a light Gueuze, could use some age. PorterPounder (7886) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUN 6, 2017
Brought back from the brewery in Santa Rosa by my son - thanks! Hazy, light golden pour, not much of a head to speak of. Pleasant sour aroma, some Parmesan cheese. some apricot sourness. . Flavor is tart with some wood accents, some sourness - cherries come to mind. Solid spritz to the mouthfeel. Excellent sour to savor! JBell14 (92) - Chelmsford, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 27, 2017

Poured into a tulip from bottle, bottled 7/26/16. Cloudy golden yellow, with a medium white head that quickly dissipated. Nose is all funk, a bit on the bready side, over ripe citrus notes. Taste is mostly tart citrus, with that sharp sour finish. Very nice. rouhlas (3584) - GREECE - MAR 20, 2017
