Bottle at THE Sour and Saison Tasting, London. Many thanks to Bruce for sharing this one. Pours lightly hazy, bright gold with a fine, white foam head. Ripe lemon nose with some sweaty socks as well. Light to medium sweet flavor with some pale malts, tangy citrus, more socks. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderately dry and grassy to finish with still more socks and sweat. Good balance, nice nuance. Very solid beer overall.

Poured into a tulip from bottle, bottled 7/26/16. Cloudy golden yellow, with a medium white head that quickly dissipated. Nose is all funk, a bit on the bready side, over ripe citrus notes. Taste is mostly tart citrus, with that sharp sour finish. Very nice. rouhlas (3628) - GREECE - MAR 20, 2017
