Pours a nice light amber, white head. Aroma is nice and hop forward. Citrus, grapefruit peel. The hop aroma is delicate and the yeasty/malt chararcter of the malt shines well. Flavor is crisp, lightly bitter, so delicate but bold at the same time...yeah I know it doesn’t make sense. So go and drink it...then it will. marcus (10584) - Sacramento, California, USA - APR 10, 2011
On tap at The Trappist. Pours clear blonde with a nice off-white head and an enticing floral aroma. There is a refreshing pale malt flavor with a dry citrus component. Nicely hopped and tasty. GT (10002) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 12, 2012
Tap at Russian River. Clear golden to light orange with a sheety lacing white head. Perfect appearance for style- amazing lace. Fresh, tropical hop nose with hints of lavender and mango. Taste is super clean, moderately soapy, dry, floral bitters. Not as thick biscuity as the Aud Blonde, which I think is a bit better. Better palate- less soap. Excellent herbal bitterness.

On tap at the Trappist. Pours with a very lightly hazed yellow body with a large and lasting, thick, creamy white head. Amazing lace. Aromas are hoppy, lemony, orange, tangerine rind, pine, lightly herbal, fruity, medium esters. Malt is a background note to the hops. Flavors are citrusy, very fruity, pomelos, appricot, tangerine. Very well made. Dry, lightly grainy malt aromas. Some esters. Very dry. Medium bitterness. Lively bubbles, no astringency, medium body. Very tasty! swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - FEB 8, 2012
Draft, golden with orange tint pour. Milder hop filled aroma. Solid bitterness, slight weediness, some citrus notes. Solid apa joeneugs (6371) - Livermore, California, USA - APR 10, 2011
Pours golden yellow with a white head. The aroma is shockingly dry and hoppy with some spicy pine and eucalyptus. The flavor is hugely bitter with some minerals, pine, fresh citrus and a hint of grainy bread in the finish. Nicely effervescent, yet not overly so. This is probably the dryest APA I’ve ever had. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - MAR 28, 2011
Clear golden with a fizzy white head. Grainy aroma dry earthy grainy tastes with citrus notes and a crisp bitter finish. Quite refreshing. Thorpe429 (5035) - , Illinois, USA - MAY 14, 2011
Thanks to the Sean/nerd combo for this growler at DLD. Served in a SAVOR snifter.
Pours a light golden color with a really nice white head and quite a bit of lacing on the way down. The nose is really nice and loaded with hops--pretty strong floral component along with some citrus notes. Minimal malt backing. The flavor isn’t quite as much of a hop bite as the aroma was hop perfume, but still quite nice and pleasurable. Moderate bitterness on a fairly light body. Good characteristics and highly refreshing. Light malt and pretty good hops all around; another RR winner.
