Bottle sample @ Cantillon Quintessence 2014.

Dark brown with a good beige head. Aroma is chocolate, caramel, brownie, dates. Medium bodied, creamy mouthfeel, sweet on the palate with a subtle balancing roast note. Taste is chocolate, toffee, mild roast coffee, caramel, fig. Thisis12ptfont (1192) - Los Angeles, CA, California, USA - APR 11, 2014
Aroma of cocoa nibs, vanilla, charcoal, and coffee beans. Appears black with nice lacing. Taste is chocolate, cocoa, toffee, dry espresso, slick coffee bean oil, and dark chocolate. Overall, this is a well rounded and balanced porter. The alcohol is very well masked making it very drinkable. A+ rating. IrishBoy (4199) - Bakersfield, California, USA - APR 8, 2014
Growler from my son’s friend Adam whom I helped introduce to big beers a couple years ago with a FW 10-15 vertical that the 3 of us shared a couple years ago. Nose is coffee, chocolate, combined con char (alliteration for you English profs on the site to enjoy). Cloudy super dark brown with a medium, heavy lacing, cinnamon tan head. Flavor is coffee, chocolate, roast, with light smokiness and bitterness. AdamChandler (5051) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - APR 6, 2014

>> Clear sepia, excellent rocky tan foam, good retention. Nose is oyster stout, salty, tootsie rolls, mild smoke. Taste is bitter dark chocolate, rich, roasty, no smoke, mild sugar. Great balance, bitter, very nice.
On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark dark brown without much head. Chocolate aroma and bold chocolate flavor without too much bitterness.

On tap @ RR. Pour is dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma and flavor are both of toasted bread, espresso, chocolate, and slight booze. Finish is strong roasted malt with a chocolate aftertaste. BMMillsy (1788) - Florida, USA - MAR 4, 2014
As a sampler from the source, pours dark brown, opaque, with a half finger super creamy looking khaki head. Roasty with a big part chocolate covered raisins on the aroma. The flavor is full of big chocolate notes, has some dark fruit finish, and just a hint of roast or smoke on the palate. Medium creamy mouthfeel, low to medium carbonation that drinks easy for the ABV. Not bad at all, but probably not worth going out of your way for.
