Pours an amber color with medium off-white head that sticks the glass in gobs as it’s consumed. Aroma is sour with notes of oak, tart cherry and barnyard. Batch 003, poured in a Lambic Flute
Pours a gold-amber color with a large pillowy white head that leaves large amount of white sticky lacing. Aroma is beautiful - acidic, sour, oak, and bits of cherry. Taste is sour and slightly cherry tart, which is balanced by the oak.

Batch 3 - Acquired in a trade from lb4lb. Many thanks! Slow pour so as not to rouse the sediment results in a thinnish head that all but dissipates somewhat quickly. Ruddy reddish color with smal tight carbonation. Aroma is sour, with Brett characters dominating, with undertones of vanilla oak notes. Mouthfeel is sharp and lively. Sour hits upfront, but finishes with an almost sweetness from what may me the oak. Cherry not really a dominant note, but merely helps accentuate the tartness of the bacterias and the tart fruit from th oak. Pours brown-amber almost like you can see the cherries in the glass. Aroma is tart, wood, brett, sour cherries. Flavor is champagne like with wood and cherry coming through in the finish. I like this brew but I have to say that Temptation is my favorite of the RR sours. Good though.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2010 9/30/10: Bottle (Batch 04X2): Tart aroma of tart fruit, funk, cherry, light oak, citric acid, Brett, light barnyard, and vinous notes. Poured deep amber in color with a small, off-white head that lasted throughout. Cloudy. Lightly sparkling. Full of tiny, small, medium, and large-sized particles throughout. Flavor is medium to heavily tart and heavily sweet. Tastes of berries, cherry, funk, slight barnyard, light oak, grapes, tart fruit, slight Brett, and citric acid. Medium body. Tingly, then mouth-puckering texture. Lively carbonation. Berry, cherry, slight funk, slight Brett, citric acid, and grape finish is heavily tart.
10/10/08: Bottle: Very tart aroma with notes of fruits, Brett, cherries, oak, and acid. Poured amber/orange in color with a small, off-white head. Very sparkling. Hazy. Flavor is very tart. UPDATED: APR 28, 2013 Batch 003: Pours orangish-amber color, supple yellowish-white head with ample lacing. Loads of peach/cherry in the nose, some citrus, really slight must, some lactic notes, faintly sweet, vinous notes with warmth. What!? 10/10. Flavor is a step down but is still great: more orange citrus to couple with the peach, lactic notes and wine lingering on the tongue, slight wood hiding out again. Palate is top notch, so smooth and simultaneously so vibrant. It’s really enjoyable to see another bretty beer where the extra pieces all snap together in the end. 1058518
Batch 004: Several bottles 1-3 months old. Less grape than before, dominant sour cherry ruling. Dry, woody finish, some grapefruit bitterness. Very sour and harshly acidic. At this age, not as good as 003. 858417 Christian (13930) - Odense, DENMARK - SEP 27, 2008
Amber with a lasting and lively white head. Subdued, but complex aroma with cherry, vanilla and fresh wood. Initially quite acidic, then a complex, elegant tartness with cherry and wood notes, and finishing with an even sweetish fruitiness.

Poured a dark orange color with an off white head. Aroma was sourness, sour cherries, a bit vineous. Flavor was amazing, very sour with a nice hint of cherries and oak, almost like a sour cherry wine.
