M: Average Carbonation, Light to Medium Bodied, Crisp, Clean
Overall, a very drinkable blonde ale but nothing thatll blow you away. A nice beginner craft beer for someone on the transition. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 14, 2013
12oz bottle, from And Beer in Athens, OH, for $1.75. Mostly hazy golden orange color. Lots of fine particles visible in the body. Thin off-white head, leaves bits of lace. Medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation, more dry texture. Orange citrus hops, kind of spicy. Some old malty hop taste. Biscuity, crackery malts, light on the caramel. More spicy taste, moderate bitter. Minimal sweet. Decent blond ale. shigadeyo (3764) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 2, 2013

4/28/2011: Rust Belt Blast Furnace Blond Ale... Aroma:
Musty grain? Appearance: Hazy yellow with a large; puffy off-white
head. Flavor: Palate: Lots of fuzzy white wheat malt with lemon
zest, spice, and something like grains of paradise; dry, herby finish;
mild to no real bitterness coming through. Medium-light; soft and
smooth. Overall: Horrible aroma, but otherwise the flavor is very
approachable; nice interpretation of a Blonde Ale.
1 pint, 6 fl. oz. bottle. Rating #10 for this beer.
12 oz bottle from a sampler case purchased in Pittsburgh. Some hints of a floral taste but lacking the qualities found in other sessions. Just pretty average where I expected a lot more from the makers of the Coke Oven Stout. kassner (1685) - Wexford, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 12, 2012
Bottle from Variety pack, infected and soured. Looks Ok and has frothy head but it is clearly not a golden ale but diluted acid

Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a yellow-golden color with a huge creamy white head that lingers forever and left incredible lacing. The aroma was light sweet sugar and citrus. The flavor was dry, tart and dust with light lemon and cardboard. Medium finish and body. Not good.

22 oz. bottle shared by shigadeyo. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium sized whitish head. The aroma is herbal with light floral notes. The problem is that it comes off as ashy or dusty which is distracting. The flavor is floral with pale malts, lightly toasted and a bit grainy. This is not something I would drink again. jmikolich (1477) - North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA - MAY 21, 2011
22oz bottle from mustard seed, taste is similar to keystone ice too malty and nasty not good local brewery needs some work Tmoney99 (14836) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 12, 2011
Bottle. Poured hazy amber color with an average off-white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate dish water soap aroma. Light to medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Light to medium sweet flavor with a light to medium sweet finish of short to moderate duration. Worth having once.

Aroma: Weak--hints of caramel and vanilla, with a faint hoppiness. Floral, maybe?
Appearance: Sparkling Gold with almost no head.
Taste: Light sweetness backed with a light bitterness and slight sourness.
Palate: Light-medium body, average carbonation, crisp texture with a decent finish.
Overall: It’s a pretty weak showing, and reminds me too much of commercial beers to be appealing or outstanding. Still, it’s drinkable and has enough flavor that I could make it to the end of the bottle without wincing.
