COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Proceed with caution: Road Wrecker is a giant of an ale, with major bitter and aromatic hops, topping out in the vicinity of 7.0% ABV. A coppery malt body and plentiful hop character for a classic Pacific Northwest style IPA to satisfy the Hopmonger in all of us. Seatbelts recommended!

On tap at the Lincoln City BP Hazy orange light tan heqd and nice even sheets of lacing. Woody piney hop aromas and mice of a grassy hop flavor. Moderately bitter and a little husky in the malt character.

a couple of pints at the brewpub/restaurant..$4.00 a piece. Slightly cloudy orange beer with a good sized frothy cream head. Nice dank deep hop aromas. Taste is quite bitter but a bit malty..PNW style. Very nice mouth feel easy to drink stuff. A reasonable PNW IPA..OK

Draft - Bright grapefruit.  Cleanish gold with a decent white head.  Bitter peel, grapefruit and a very dry finish.  Solid.

From growler fill station Growler Guys in Bend, Oregon. I believe the stated ABV was 6.65 and IBU of 70. Pours a very coppery color with an off white head that dissipated quickly. Aroma of alcohol that seems more floury than citrus. Full flavored but seemed to get flat rather quickly for us. Better than some IPAs in the NW but given where I live, I have many choices and we may or may not come back to this one. However, if you at the coast and can go the "Truck" then that would be a no brainer!

On tap at Rusty Truck Brewing, pours a cloudy orange with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out pleasant piney hops, some slight coppery notes, and some crackery malt. Flavour brings out fresh piney hops, some floral notes, and a somewhat Englishy malt profile. Refreshing and well-balanced, with a lingering hoppy finish - no astringency. Very solid stuff.

On draught at Roadhouse 101. Full golden color. Aroma is light grassy hops and light sweet malts. Taste is a smooth combination of grass and citrus hop and dark maltiness. Finishes lightly bitter.

Draft at the brewery. Finally we have something drinkable from these guys. The pale ale was close but had some strange mustard and dog hair smells going on. The IPA has a lot of Simcoe catty / shallot aromas, but also a lot of nicely juicy orange citrus character. Sweet, bitter, creamy carbonation, somewhat rough malt but also firm enough to hold up the body. Herbal onion flavor late with a strange garlic brine and sourish cheese rind flavor. Altogether the cleanest and most interesting beer from Rusty Truck, worth a few gulps, which I coudln’t say about anything else I tried.

Alphadelic (2237) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 8, 2013
Pretty dull. Slightly fruity. A sweeter, nutty finish as seems to be the hallmark of this brewery.

Draught. Floral aroma with lekker citrus edge. Cloudy to clear orange with white head. Hoppy flavour, sweet orange and flowers. Long hop finish

On tap at the brew pub. Mild bitterness throughout. Nice grapefruit. Not much malt until the finish. Finish is nice but fades away too quickly.
