Poured a half finger of head on a see-through brown colored body.
The aroma is great. Nutty, cocoa and milk.
The taste wanders a bit. Sweet and creamy to moderate bitterness at the end. Interesting.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
The flavor wasn’t great. It was disjointed. hayduke (5601) - Eureka, California, USA - AUG 15, 2013
Shared with Strykzone via Facebook Chat. This poured brown with a foamy light tan head and light lacing. Nose of roasted malts with chocolate and nutmeg. Medium body. Lively but still smooth mouthfeel. The flavor shows lots of chocolate and some citrus. There is a bitterness in the finish. This is a beer that gets there by being almost understated. Really easy drinking is was gone in a jiffy, always a sign and good beer I liked this a lot. Strykzone (7483) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - AUG 15, 2013
Bomber from Hayduke. We had it together via facebook chat. This poured dark brown with a little red and a nice frothy beige head. An aroma of roasted malts and earthy cocoa. The flavor brought out some nutmeg spice in the front. Roasted malts and molasses. Very mild bitterness and some earth. Citrus hops are tasted late. This is pretty much what I want a brown to be and this beer does not try to do too much. It is a solid brown and down the middle for my wheelhouse. BeerFunGuy (875) - California, USA - DEC 28, 2012
This beer pours a beautiful dark brown color. It has very little carbonation so it has almost no head. It has the distinct brown aroma and has a malty chocolate taste.

Bomber from Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa, CA. Pours dark ruddy amber with a creamy beige head. Aromas of chocolate and "brownly" roasted malt. Med body. Frothy carb. Flavor is actually dark, almost bakers, chocolate and gritty roast malt. Coming across as bitter chocolate. If you like dark chocolate without sugar, this is for you.

On tap at dad’s kitchen, Sacramento. Pours medium brown with a massive beige head and a chocolate aroma. There is a hearty roasted malt and treacle flavor with a dry finish. bnoel09 (588) - Elk Grove, California, USA - APR 27, 2012
On tap @ Dad’s Kitchen in Sacramento. Brown with tan head. Aroma is nutty and chocolatey. Flavor matches the aroma and adds some roasted malt and coffee notes. Medium bodied with a slightly creamy mouthfeel. Overall this was a nice Brown ale. 944play (422) - Santa Rosa, California, USA - JUN 12, 2010
Draft at Toad in the Hole. Clear medium brown with wisps of head. Candylike fruit, vanilla, and a touch of roasty malt all check in at low but pleasing levels. Caramel, light-roast coffee, and earthy bitterness on a very dry, almost featureless substrate makes for a surprisingly refreshing pint. anders37 (26824) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JAN 11, 2009
Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a clear brwon color with a small off-white head. Has a malty earthy hoppy caramel aroma. Dry malty caramel flavor with some hoppy hints and also some nutty hints. Has a dry malty hoppy finish with hints of caramel. aspidites (1272) - manteca, California, USA - NOV 24, 2007
Mildly astringent nose with some mild hop and toast notes. Nuts and toffee palate with a soft mouthfeel. Clean and dry almost grainy finish.
