Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Dutchdrebus. Clear golden color, medium to full sized white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly grainy, lightly sweetish, lightly bitter in the finish. Hmm ok, not really good but drinkable. Christos (5688) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - JUN 1, 2014
Bottle 500 ml at home, poured into a big Guinness glass. ABV 6.5%
Deep golden orange beer, with lots of activity in its clear body and a tall slighty off-white head, thick, with pretty good retention, leaving light lacing on the glass.
Aroma of malts, lots of metal, not offensive though.
Taste is also malty, less sweet than I expected, light hay, sugar, alcohol somewhat notable but again, not offensive, it just gives an interesting note.
Medium thin body, carbonation is okay I guess, maybe towards the lower side
Overall nothing special, but it drinks okay. mjakopa (266) - Maribor, SLOVENIA - APR 28, 2014
Pours a darker yellow, with some head but dissipates quite fast. Aroma is grainy, alcohol and slightly sweet. Taste is slightly soapy, malty, sweet, with a drier aftertaste and some bitterness. Might even be hints of hops. westler (97) - Stuttgart, GERMANY - APR 21, 2014

0.50 cl bottle.
Color: crystal clear amber with a very nice golden shade.
Aroma: grains, honey, caramel, sweet malts, herbaceous note.
Taste: sweet in taste start, then flower and herbal pleasantly bitter. Very balanced ending.
An exciting variable to the classic Czech pilsner. Must try. bignamsHF (9) - ITALY - JAN 2, 2014 does not count
Fantastic flavour, important pils with a faboulous colour. I suggest it at the end of a dinner or with some meat.. tderoeck (9471) - Gent, BELGIUM - DEC 5, 2013

Clear orange beer, small irregular off-white head, bit stable, little adhesive. Aroma: sweet malts, grains, some orange peel, honey, caramel, bit nutty, some marzipan. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet malty start, bit of orange peel, caramel, soft bitterness. Aftertaste: sweet malts, caramel, honey, orange peel, little bitter, fruity touch. Seriously, this tastes more like a Vienna or Märzen than an Imperial Pils... Pretty complex and interesting. Once more surprised about the low rating of this beer.
Light amber colour, yeasty, mushroomy fragrances, suggests a malty, bread-like flavour but in fact it is more bitter than I expected from the aroma. Leaves some kind of a pilsner-like aftertaste but nothing extra.
