KyotoLefty (10538) - Kyoto, JAPAN - AUG 23, 2010
Draught at Zly Casy. Big malty aroma with honey and alcohol. Strong, sweet flaovr, with honey, rich cereals, alcohol. tries to be balanced but in the end it is unexceptional. Too sweet and heavy, rather syrupy.

JorisPPattyn (10061) - BELGIUM - OCT 11, 2004
Deep-golden; white-yellow head, receding. Bit oxydated nose, autumn leaves aroma. Sweet-bitter, vanilla, grassy & just a little roasted. Well balanced! My co-taster speaks of lactose. Again a bit metallic-hops, light to medium bodied. Especially the balance impresses me, as well as the hops quality.

MoritzF (10025) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - AUG 10, 2006
(bottle from pivnizub - thanks !) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized foamy, slightly off-white head. Malty and somewhat spicy aroma with shy but aromatic hops. Soft sweet flavour, malty, slightly toasted taste, medium body, almost crispy carbonation; sweetbitter malty finish with a warming, well-integrated alcoholic note and a dense hoppy touch. Pleasant to drink.

16/XI/13 - 50cl bottle @ home - BB: 16/I/14 (2013-1068) Thanks to Marie for the bottle!

Clear orange beer, small irregular off-white head, bit stable, little adhesive. Aroma: sweet malts, grains, some orange peel, honey, caramel, bit nutty, some marzipan. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet malty start, bit of orange peel, caramel, soft bitterness. Aftertaste: sweet malts, caramel, honey, orange peel, little bitter, fruity touch. Seriously, this tastes more like a Vienna or Märzen than an Imperial Pils... Pretty complex and interesting. Once more surprised about the low rating of this beer.

Draught. High creamy off-white head. Clear amber bodz. Powerful barley mal aroma with and grass notes. Sweet dry bittersweet flavor. Low carbonation. Short aftertaste.

3.3
Quack-Duck (9487) - Down South, GERMANY - NOV 1, 2007
bottle from Pivni Galerie. Golden yellow, medium-size head. Bitter-sweet aroma of malt and hops. Full-bodied, quite malty and fruity with hints of alcohol. More hoppy in the finish which gives the beer a typical bitter-sweet character.

Hermod (8140) - Vantaa, FINLAND - OCT 3, 2011
Tap @ Pivnice Hostina, Helsinki. Poured clear golden with a creamy white head. Sweet malty, slightly bready aroma. Flavor is caramel, dark fruits and bread. Hint of alcohol in finish, but not in a disturbing way. Medium to full bodied, decent bitterness. For a strong lager, this was a nice brew.

3
Marduk (8093) - Reval, ESTONIA - AUG 19, 2012
0,5l bottle. Clear golden color. Medium thick white head. Hops, mild metallic, minerals in aroma. Metallic, mild bitter hops, irony flavor.
