500ml bottle. A fantastic chocolaty stout. Recommended. But it is actually better on tap than bottle. I tried it at Sadlers Windsor Castle pub, and it was sublime.MattyDTD (2) - Ormskirk, Lancashire, ENGLAND - FEB 15, 2016 does not count

Pour - Pours a very dark brown almost black appearence, 1 finger head which decipates withing a minute or so.
Aroma - Rather boozy for a 6.6% beer compared to others but that smell is carried by dark roasted malts accompanied by dark coffee notes with vanilla on the back end.
Taste - Creamy, Frui and nut chocolate, vanilla pod finished with the malts that stick to the roof of your mouth.
Overall - Probably the best stout ive tried. Has everything a stout lover wants. Big bold flavours and smells. A heavy stout that sticks to your mouth and dances on your tongue. If only it had the guinness type head it would be perfect. 10/10

Czarne w kolorze o malej bezowe pianie . W zapachu dominuje kakao i czekolada oraz pakone chmiele . W smaku delikatne o wtraznej nucie czekoladowej ale nie jest zbyt slodkie. Dodatkowo kakao orzechy platki. Niezly stout za niska cene. downender (8660) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - NOV 15, 2015

Taste - more of the same. A decent vanilla note too.
Palate - medium bodied with a rich tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish.
Overall - i really like beers like this. Rich but balanced. jamestulloch (4114) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 22, 2015
Bottle. Dark brown with ruby highlights and a thick beige head. Good lacing. Aroma of prunes, plums and chocolate. Flavour of raisins, coffee and plums. Medium body with a creamy texture. Soft fizz. Rich and flavoursome. peponi (1868) - Hannover, GERMANY - AUG 17, 2015
Aroma: roasted dark malts (even smoked), asky.
Appearance: black color and weak beige head.
Taste: medium herbal bitterness, roasted malts, ashy, some smoked notes, dry, quite smooth.
Palate: medium body and medium carbonation.
Overall: Decent stout, but there is no vanilla pods and cocoa. Hanoi (951) - Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - JUL 17, 2015
Bottle from home bargains. Nose is not great initially but improved, metallic notes abound, which faded as it breather leading to sweet malts, slight licorice and soft coco and vanilla.
The taste is sweet, sweet malts with emerging vanilla milkshake, subtle wheat, slight licorice, gentle smoke.
Mouthfeel is very thick and rich.
I found this a strange beer, much much better than I was anticipating and many of the reviews suggested. It suffers ultimately from a lack of depth for the strength, but as a supermarket beer it’s much better than one normally finds.
