Bottle. Deep Gold in colour. Malty; toasty malts, toffee. Fruity; citrus fruits. Hoppy; grassy and earthy hops. Sweet fruity malty with a mildly bitter finish. OK. Easy drinking. (2011-09-09)

Quite a spicy, bitter brew - notes of earth, banana and malt all playing nicely off each other.

Has an okay strong lager aroma with hints of hops. Okay white head and yellow body. Flavour is lemony with tiramisu notes. Dry finish. Nice and drinkable if not memorable.

500ml bottle from B&M Bargains - Hazy orange body, thin whited head. Nose is grassy, citrus, hops, bit of yeast. Taste is clean and crisp, little bit of bite on the way out. Bob Gandalf on the label, but not very magic.

Bottle at home, thanks to James, 13/02/16. Very lightly hazed golden orange with a well appointed off white covering that retains well. Nose is biscuit, light spice, trace herbal, bread dough. Taste comprises light floral notes, orange, bready, straw, grain. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with a bitter linger. Average.

500ml bottle. Pours with a very thin head of fine bubbles. Very pale orange in colour. Somewhat sweet on the nose. Slight citrus hints with a mostly hoppy flavour and a minute trace of peach, but retaining a bitter aftertaste. Good chilled for a warm day.
