Aroma; malty grainy scents. Look; off white bighead, dark amber clear body. Taste; smooth malts, caramel, syrup, roasted malty notes - malted finish. Feel; smooth. Overall; quite okay. [[email protected]]

Brownish/red color with a fine tan head. A bit sweet caramel malty aroma. Medium body and an average carbonation. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Toffee and malty flavor. Ok decent dunkel. A bit more bitterness would have helped a lot.
[Bottle from a local grocery store in Lisbon, Portugal]

Ruby color. nice head. Aroma is malt, taste is little bitter and sweet. Before the beer market in Portugal started to increase this was my favorite portuguese beer...

McNeillR (2322) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 2, 2013
Rich ruby body, sandy white head. Big malty nose, sugary and curranty. Initial dry, toasted bitter taste. Middle of more malt without anywhere near the level of sweetness I was hoping. Cereal dust sweetness to the finish. Surprisingly leggy without being that sweet.
Was made to look like a prick for ordering this when everyone was supping litres of Sagres for the same price. Not really worth it.

Bottle, random bar on Riberia Square, Porto

One of my favorite mass production beer in Portugal. Good colour, nice taste and almost no head. A simple but rather everyday beer, specially for those rainy days.

33cl bottle. Dark brown colour with a good formation but quickly diminishes tan head, any way, nice lacework on the glass. Aroma is fruity and slightly toasty. Flavour is moderate toasted malts, citrus hints are also present, slightly bready on palate, with a final caramelized and sweet. Carbonation is medium. Body is medium. Texture is slightly creamy.
