Aroma: Cereals and molasses. Appearance: Dark reddish brown color with clear sparkling liquid and minimal white head. Taste: Light sweet touches with medium bitterness. Palate: Light body with thin texture and average carbonation. Short bitter/sweet finish with astringent notes. Overall: Soft for being a dunkel. Easy and fresh to drink.

12oz bottle at Nando’s Peri Peri. Poured a light clear dark yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was corn, flaked grains, sweet notes. Touch crisp grassy character. Fine to go with the spicy food at Nando’s.

Bottle. Pours a clear, dark, reddish amber with a small, white head. Aroma has lots of rye bread, caramel, fruity, malty, sugary. Taste is sweet, dark malty, no bitterness, not really anything but sweetness. Average to high carbonation and a somewhat oily body.

Bottled, 330ml from a supermarket in Diekirch, Luxembourg. Amber towards copper with short white head. Thin and fairly sweet, lightly spiced beer, fruity and a touch floral. Edging towards the dodgy end.

Brown, clear. Brown sugar, raisin, but very thin. Sweet taste of industrial jam and black tea. Short and sweet ending. It’s okay. (33cl bottle form a supermarket in Portugal)

Wombata (623) - Kobe, JAPAN - APR 18, 2016
Bottle from Yamaya. Aroma: Molasses/brown sugar, dark bread, candy sugar, yeast. Palate: Medium bodied and smooth. Flavor: Moderately sweet molasses/roasted brown sugar, brown malt bread, grain and yeast. Short-medium length finish. Comment: Starts sweet but moderates mid-palate. I found no faults with this but it was fairly innocuous.
