Coppery clear, thick tan lines. Nose is burnt straw, quite a decent but not overpowering smokiness. Initial taste engages the nostril burn, up front spice and rich clove fruitiness. Finishes a long, rich chest warming spice. Lingers a nutty sweet charred woodiness. Pretty nice. The cloveness made me want a fruity punch along for the ride. Pours clear copper with no head. Aroma is chipotle pepper that tingle the nostrils and some honey. Taste is high honey sweet with a nice long-lasting chilli heat which integrates quite well! Thick and syrupy. jonas (8625) - Garching close to the monks, GERMANY - DEC 19, 2017
Light dairy, Greek youghurt with honey aroma, a bit smoke. Wood smoked apple barrel, light honey. Medium light body, dry. Nice little burn in the finish. kraddel (9547) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - DEC 18, 2017
Thnx to sinH4. The description sounds like sahtipaja wanted to make a mead that tastes like anything but honey , lol. Luckely they made some good meads in the past so I kinda trust them. Pours semi unclear blonde, smell is very earthy, vegetable, herbal pepper ( chipotle ) way to overpowering in the scent. Taste is plain burning chipotle. Some slick body, stixky back of the mead. Ends rather hot, possibly to much for many, but should be agreeable unbalanced to all I believe. The barrel character and subtile notes of flower are all lost to the chipotle. Certainly enjoyable and fun, but quality wise, they make so much better.

Terrible sour cottage cheese aroma. Sweet in the mouth, some chilli and alcohol very clear. Kinda watery palate. Finish is the chilli burn. Chilli in mead is a frickin stupid fashion, seen twice just this weekend (out of 3 meads) - I want my chipotle on my mexican food, thank you, not in my glass. Anna even gets cottage cheese in the finish too. That's one flaw that I can never overlook.
Bottle (RBESG Grand Tasting 2017). Clear golden yellow color. No head. Fart, shit, grainy, sweet in aroma. Chilly, sweet, honey, herbal in taste. Honey, sweet, chilly and spicy in aftertaste. Aroma is disgusting, but taste is pretty nice. Weird brew. Rubin77 (2973) - Brussels / Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - AUG 12, 2017

Bottle. Pours faint yellow. Nose is spicy honey, floral. Palate is very spicy, some honey. Too spicy for my palate. Can’t taste a finish. Ritzn (2228) - GERMANY - JUL 28, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 19, 2017 Aroma is honey, chili, spices, smoke, fishy (?). Taste is intensely spicey with honey sweetness. Not really drinkable due to the spiceyness. Some blueberries . However sweet honey finish that is actually nice. Interesting but not my thing.
