Bit denser brown, still moderately clear and thick lacing. Nose is very bright floral, meaty and quite boozy. Pretty chewy caramel initial buzz, firm cooling sweetness and a mild earthy woodiness. Finishes a little bit more rusky, lingers out and a nice blading milky sweetness. Mouthfeel a fair bit more bullish.

Bottle, Shabbat Shalom Mead Tasting, from the source via Ben H

Slightly harsh spicy aroma, dusty notes. Slightly grey older sample. Full on spicy honey, sugar bread, spicy finish. Clean, not cloying.

Thnx to SinH4! Pours unclear yellow. Smell is very funky , floral honey, bit of oak, some caracter that I cant place... I assume it's the bourbon in a weird background. Taste is sweet, funky honey, bit alcohol heat but not overly boozy. Minor bourbon notes left. No sourness still stands. Very floral, either by the honey, the blueberry, or a combination of both. Sweetness is mild. Body is on the low average side, something I kinda dislike, but its still agreeable.

Tasting at Matt’s, corked bottle, vintage 2016
Dull and cloudy dark yellow color. Nice aroma, mead of course, and orange, Grand Marnier, alcohol, some vanilla; dynamic. Sweet; good depth of flavors, vanilla biscuits, light raspberry gelee, and alcohol warmth.
Excellent.

UPDATED: DEC 19, 2017 Aroma is blueberries, honey, fish, smoke, sour milk. Taste is more or less only sweet with small hints of alcoholic bitterness. Not so drinkable actually. Bitter finish. Nah.
