A decent amber ale from two great breweries. Toffee, caramel, reasonable alcohol taste and a good amount of bitterness. Well done on the limited release guys! Dervock (1421) - AUSTRALIA - MAR 14, 2014
Bottle - pours ruby with a tight tan head. Lots of flowery citrus, nettle and peach on the aroma. Moderate bitterness followed by a big dry hit at the end. Nice creamy palte. Good drop. bmeup (680) - Ormeau, AUSTRALIA - MAR 12, 2014
@DM’s Great looking clear red ale with quite a thick open head. Earthy, fresh pine, toffee, nutty and hoppy citrus. Good beer. fletchfighters (1553) - AUSTRALIA - MAR 10, 2014

Dark ruby with some orange highlights. Light tan head. Great appearance and body to head. Slowly recedes to a thick foam and leaves a thick soap like residue.
Nose is malty at first. Earth, toffee, wood, and some dark cherry notes. Once warmed up get more citrus notes and more along the line that it was hopped pretty well.
Taste is more like a fruit cake really at first. Some wood, cherry, orange peel, raisin and a lot of toffee. Pungent, dank, then just plain aggressive orange and grapefruit finish it off. Bitterness just climbs as the beer gets warmer and the malt character is more enveloped by the hops/
Full bodied for 6%. Almost chewy in some ways, medium carbonated.
Nice beer that changes and develops well as I drank on. Good stuff

A bit of a monster of an ale to be honest. Left wondering how the collab. came about and whether it is legit in credible aspects. Anyway, into a tulip it went. This simply shimmers in the glass. A deeply vibrant ruddy copper with no carbonation evident and donned with a soppy off-white mess of suds. Resinous, woody and herbaceous nose encompasses an entire pineforest; soil, wood, sap and leaves. There is a touch of rose water, eucalypt and pot pourri with just an inkling of tangerine flesh. Bi-polar as far as palate. Chewy, sweet, biscuity malts dominate here. Light touch of saline. Mild, dryly herbal hoppiness to the finish. Rather short with lapping floral notes. Sweetens rapidly as it warms but avoids the expected cloying notes. Good body, big and soft, creamy and frothy. A lofty, roasted nut flavour develops late into drinking. I actually quite like this one. Not sessionable by a long shot but I would challenge that and give it nudge. Impressed! (64cL, BB 06/07/15, Dan Murphy’s Currambine)

Bottle, 10C. Clear amber with an off white head that never disappears. Aroma is a little earthy with toffee, some chocolate, plums, oranges. Full bodied, moderate carbonation. Sweet toffee, a little toasty, chocolate. Quite firm spicy, citrus and slight tropical flavours with bitterness kicking in quite early. Tasty.
