Bottle- Pours a clear pale golden color with a small head that fades to nomial lacing.. Aroma is fairly mild with some citrus, some grain and a bit of malt sweetness. Taste is fairly bland with a bit of citrus and a bit of malt sweetness. Mild bitterness and a fairly clean finish. Light body, smooth, quite bland and a bit sticky. Drinkable, but a pretty basic Kolsch. probably best on a hot summer day. floydian1 (1490) - FNQ, Australia, - NOV 7, 2012
345ml brown bottle. Now available Australia-wide via Dan Murphy’s liquor outlets. It pours clear bright yellow with a large albeit short-lived white head. Nose and taste of light grainy malts and subtle pears, peaches and apples. Palate is light but somewhat cloying with a malty sweetness and light bitterness (probably too sweet for the style). Overall a satisfactory lawnmower beer, lacking the delicate sophistication of an authentic German Kolsch.

Clear mid gold, little or no gas but fizz on the tongue, no head. Flat-ish taste, little palate but a slight yeasty finish. Unremarkable.

Pale gold body, slight haze, white head drops away.
Mild aroma; grainy malts with a touch of floral hop.
Medium body & carbonation, dry overall impression.
Grainy malts continue on the body, light cracker biscuit flavour with a light sweetness. Floral herbaceous hops linger briefly on a subtle bitter finish.
A example of the style, somewhat underwhelming but quite clean and drinkable.

Pastel yellow in colour with reasonable clarity. Head is a wafer of white that holds on until the last. Lemon rind, persimmon flesh, apple vinegar, dusty grains and a very feint herbal hop note makes up the subtle aroma. Foamy, mildly soapy in mouthfeel with a slickness to the finish. Plastic comes to mind when tasting it, a little manky and oxidised are the hops with a hint of boiled greens late. Light malt and fruit esters to save it giving it a gentle sweetness. Not the best to be brutally honest! (33cL, BB 12/04/13, BWS Quinns Rocks) mkel07 (6362) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - DEC 21, 2012
330ml botte from Dan Murphy’s. pours a very clear pale amber colour with a very white head that levels out. Grassy straw malt aroma with a very "beery" flavour. Morboso (146) - AUSTRALIA - NOV 2, 2014
Not getting much outta this one. Like the aroma the taste has some sort of faint strange fruitiness of what type I just can’t quite nail, a little mineral water fizz but left with the faint fruit coating on my tongue unfortunately not enough of anything to say it is good. But not nasty although the marketing spiel on the label is just arse.
