Excellent example of a Imperial Stout, malty, chocolate, toffee and roasty with a balanced hop bitterness. From DM’s Beenleigh Dredd (969) - Bentleigh, AUSTRALIA - APR 9, 2014
oh boy I am a sucker for an Imperial Stout. Licorice, chocolate, cocoa and a hint of cherry on the nose. Palate has all the same flavours and a hint of oiliness and alcohol heat on the end. Good bitterness at the end and a long slightly drying finish. Iphonephan (7192) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - MAR 26, 2014

UPDATED: FEB 2, 2014 640ml bottle from Dan Murphy’s. Pours dark, dark brown with small ruby highlights. Aromas of dark chocolate, black coffee, Vegemite, brown sugar. Taste is bitter dark chocolate, black instant coffee, with a light caramel sweetness. Medium-bodied. Enjoyable and solid RIS but needs a more complex coffee flavour & a bit fuller & creamier body to elevate it to world class status. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone Unm4rk3d (87) - Adelaide, AUSTRALIA - NOV 1, 2013
