COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Like the Marlin it is named after, the Heffeweizen is light and nimble with its pilsner and pale malt profile, traditional German hops, and yeast from the oldest brewery in the world. Prost.

Hazy yellow beer with a white head. Faint aromas of lemon zest. Tastes of some tangy lemon, wheat, and hay. A bit funky, a bit sour, not like other hefes. Citric finish. Crisp and smooth with noticeable carbonation. Average.

On draft at the tasting room. Pours a straw colored haze with a puffy white head. Aroma is bread, cereal grains, dried bananas, and apricots. Taste is similar with a cereal and fruit balance Moderate carb, nice fruitiness.

Poured a clear straw hay yellow color with aromas of light wheat and banana. Flavors were wheat and sweet banana. Nothing special, watered down, light carbonation, no clove or yeast flavor traditional hefes have. Still drinkable and refreshing in the Florida heat.
