Draught @ SOPP Lahti Festival 2010.
Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, dusty, light to moderate hoppy, chlorine. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration, earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
An orange beer with a slight haze under a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet caramelic and with light notes of the alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and caramel as well as light notes of fruit and dust. oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - JUN 4, 2005
Bottled. Dark golden/copper coloured. Minor white bubbly head. Fruitish malty aroma with caramelly notes. Mild malty flavour with oakish hints. Hoppyish finish. Wellbalanced, but watery. omhper (25742) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - OCT 7, 2005
Bottled. Deep golden, minimal head. Aroma of plums and grassy hops. Medium bodied, fruity, failly dry with clean mouthfeel. Some herbal spices in a finish with medium bitterness. Definitely a step up from industrial lager Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - SEP 29, 2006
(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a clear, fully golden with a small, rough, white head. Unclean aroma of malt and brewing cereal. Medium body - again with these unclean, malty accents, some caramel and a rather bitter finish. Neither refreshing, nor pleasant. 280906

UPDATED: MAY 30, 2007 Draught at Panimoravintola Bruuveri, Helsinki. I sampled the class III and IV versions of this beer alongside each other and, to be honest, found it very difficult to distinguish between them. The class II maybe had a little less body, as one might expect. Deep gold/amber colour. Some light, flowery hop character in the aroma, with a reasonable balance of grassy hop and, quite dry, biscuity malt in the flavour. Clean mouthfeel. Not quite as tansy as the Rokrammi Pils from the same brewery, sampled just before, but pleasant enough.

Draught at the brewpubharrisoni (19336) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - SEP 27, 2006
Hazy blond color. The aroma is a bit malty. It also has a trace of cereals flavor. And enough bitterness. Pleasant.
Bottle - Bruxellensis Festival. Gold with thin white head. Dullish premium lager. Bit of stale malt. Just not a huge flavour on this. TBone (18225) - Pori, FINLAND - APR 3, 2005
UPDATED: JUN 10, 2005 Draught @HBF2005yngwie (17234) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - MAR 23, 2007
Golden color, small white head. Light malty nose. Medium-bodied. Malty, slightly hoppy finish. Some yeastyness. Clean and balanced lager but uninteresting and a big step down from lighter Marsalkka. (4/2/5/3/9 2.3)
Re-rated, bottled (BB 10/2005)
Dark gold color with small vanishing head. Sweetish malty nose. Medium-bodied, soft, fruity malty base. Some nice hops in the finish. Mostly clean and certainly better than the most of Finnish macros. (5/2/5/3/10 2.5)
Bottled. Clear, golden body and a small, white head. The nose is balanced, but weak, and I would like some more flavor as well, even though there’s some fruityness to accomplish the malt and hops. Medium body and a decent hoppyness in the finish. Quaffable, that’s it. (070302)
