jookos (7202) - FINLAND - NOV 19, 2012
UPDATED: NOV 21, 2012 Draught. Black with slight, tannish, head. Nose has roasted malts, sweet licorice, some chocolate. Body is quite soft and nice. Not as thick and tar-y as expected, but rather drinkable. Dark spices, some oakyness. A bit hot. Imo the roastedness is a bit sharp still, and there’s noticable dusty yeastiness. Intensive flavours though, probably a bit young still.Grima (2511) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - SEP 1, 2012

The beer is pitch black in the glass with a beautiful, high, thick and creamy off-white head. It smells strongly malty with chocolate, roasted malt, toffee and coffee. Starts massive malty with a lot of coffee and bitter substances, paired with sweet chocolate and caramel. The middle part is massive malty, dominated by coffee and sweet chocolate. In the background, some licorice is noticeable. The Porter goes into a very coffee-malty finish with chocolate and roasted malt. In the background a slightly smoky note is noticeable.
Bottled at SOPP, Helsinki (as Saimaan Marsalkka Portteri). Near black, coarse head. Soapy aroma of cardboard and molasses. Sweet and full bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Heavy and syrupy with fudge and butter. Mid bitter finish. Tide (4627) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 26, 2012
Bottle at beer festival. Black color, beige head. Roasty taste with chocolate, coffee. Roasty finish. Pretty decent porter. bdunhill (255) - Brussels, BELGIUM - JUN 1, 2012
This Finnish porter exudes a fresh and sweet nutty aroma and pours dark brown with a chalky white head. It has a strong bitter taste on the tongue with a lingering roasty palate that leaves you coming back for more.

Bottle from Tbone, thanks! Deep dark brown color. Malty with maple syrup and licorice in both aroma and flavor. Sweet, low on carbon. Not bad. hlkanga (333) - - APR 30, 2012
330 ml bottle. Pours almost opaque and brownish with minimal beige head. Nice aroma of chocolate, roasty and caramel malt and dark fruits. Alcohol is little bit coming through though. Flavour of burned roasty malt, coffee and a hint of chocolate. Medium bodied and oily texture. Low carbonation. Uncormfortably burning bitter finnish. Aroma was really good but taste was a small disappointment. Drinkable but bit too burned for my taste. Cuso (8960) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - APR 27, 2012
Bottle from rosenbergh, kiitos. Labale says Marsalkka Portteri. Almost black color with small beige head. Roasted malt, coffee, chocolate in aroma with earthy notes. Taste, chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, bitter hops, ash. Dry, bitter finish, with hints of wood. Good one. maekchu (4184) - Hirakata, JAPAN - APR 16, 2012
Bottle. Thanks to Bart for bringing this from Finland. Metallic, aluminum scents with some mild chocolate and maybe yogurt. Very dark brown and a small thick head. Flavors of chocolate, cocoa powder. Good full aftertaste.
Medium body. KyotoLefty (10926) - Kyoto, JAPAN - APR 15, 2012
Bottle. Minerals and soy nose, sweet pear. Black with lace. Sweet and fruity flavor, cola, woody, with a light roast and a dirty finish. Too sweet and fruity.
