Sticky mashy aroma. Rich orange, keggy head. Slightly metallic taste. Sweet and smooth. Does have a fairly german feel to it, but is thicker, fuller, and heavier than a real oktoberfest marzen. Then again, this is an ale, so a different type of beer. Dry peppery hop finish.
Draught at Bruuveri, Helsinki. Aroma and flavours are grass, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Nothing special. Hermod (7693) - Vantaa, FINLAND - OCT 26, 2012
Draught @ Bruuveri 20.10.2012. Pured clear dark golden, thin head. Grainy, malty, light bready aroma. Flavor is more sweet, with grassy, grainy malt, more sweetness, light bitter finish. mjs (7156) - Helsinki, FINLAND - OCT 26, 2012
(Draught at Porvoon Kekri ’12) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had a lot of malts, molasses and hint of grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, tartness, sweetness, malts, molasses and bitterness. Afteraste was tart and bitter. Aroma was good but the taste was quite weird.
