A mate gave me a tin and I quite enjoyed it. A couple of days later, I bought four tins at my local Sainsbury’s for £1.10 which is a bargain and you get what you pay for. They are not bad. The taste and everything else is OK I only drink a few lagers every other week and usually spend at least £1.40 per tin. These basic Sainsbury’s lagers will last me for one week at just the cost of £1.10!!!! prawlie (1591) - Berkshire, ENGLAND - JUN 16, 2016
Can. This tastes and smells of almost nothing and wouldn’t even be acceptable as cooking lager. digitalviking (99) - - MAY 16, 2016
Tastes like pbr (which means its actually decent for what it is), hella weak as far as alc, not as thin as it could’ve been though. Super cheap! cgarvieuk (24448) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 9, 2015
can at home... with all blame to James ... thin straw yellow... thin white lacing ... soft light lemon grass nose ... soft sweet hay... soft fruits ... nothing to really love or offend Stuu666 (13367) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 4, 2015
Can at home. Pours clear piss golden, nose is lemonade, toffee, taste is more like a shandy, metallic.

Can thanks to allmyvinyl.
Appearance - light golden with a decent head which then disappears quite quickly.
Nose - light lemon and pale malt.
Taste - light malt and a faint hint of lemon again. Then it’s gone.
Palate - very light bodied with not much in the middle and then it’s over. Refreshing but not in a hoppy way, more in the way that water is.
Overall - like making love in a canoe. Phuqing close to water. allmyvinyl (10611) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAR 24, 2015
440ml can from Sainsbury. Pours clear watery gold with a short-lived white head. Aromas of lemon and light cereal. Taste is metallic, thin finish. The_Osprey (7980) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 11, 2014
2006 - Numbers only rating from university. Can, several 4-packs each costing less than £1. An all-day drinking without getting drunk beer. Tastes light, vaguely corny, metallic and generically lager-like, watery. SarkyNorthener (4604) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 28, 2014
Can from sainsburys. Golden beer with medium frothy head. Aroma of malts. Taste is pale malts and a touch of hops. Very watery. Crap. ManVsBeer (10445) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 4, 2014
Soulless, tasteless yellow stuff. No head. Easily the worst of all supermarket own brand lagers I’ve tasted.
